No, You're Not Dying
Mother-daughter duo Beth (a PhD clinical psychologist) and Joyce (a chronic over-thinking millennial) love to sit and chat about finding balance in the never-ending ups and downs of life - so much so, that they turned it into a podcast.
Join them every week for a candid conversation about the many ways in which life impacts our mental health, how psychology can shift your perspective, and why even if you feel like you’re dying, you’re probably not. Kinda funny, never scripted, always honest - so join the conversation!

No, You're Not Dying
Simple Things That Make Us Unhappy (Why Complaining is Cathartic)
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Whoever said that complaining is bad for you obviously just doesn't get it. It can be funny, a way to vent, and a means of connection - and there doesn't have to be an end goal or solution you're aiming for.
Today, we're chatting about why complaining gets an often undeserved bad rap, how to know when you're taking it too far, when to offer solutions versus when to just listen, and why humor can make us feel better about the things that are making us unhappy.
Then, we're getting into the ~many~ things we are disliking right now - from too-tight socks, to poorly timed commercial breaks, to bad therapy, and our favorite items being discontinued. Plus, so much more. Trust us.
We also have our first wheeze laugh of the show so if nothing else listen for that.
